We recruit Nurses of all grades both an on-going contract and permanent positions, with scope for your professional development and career progression.

The work we have available

We can offer you work environments that are varied and include working in a patients home, NHS and Private hospitals, Nursing and Care Homes, national healthcare projects and office based roles such as a Branch Nurse. Some of the roles our Nurses currently work in include;

  • Providing care at home to adults, children and  babies with highly complex needs including specialist procedures such as tracheostomies and ventilators.
  • Chronic Disease Management to service uses with long term chronic diseases cared for at home, in a care home, hospital or hospice.
  • Managing wards within hospitals, both NHS, independent and private across the country.
  • Placements within hospices for palliative care.
  • Delivering health and wellbeing projects including flu vaccination programmes and immunisation projects as well as special projects for renal home care.
  • Permanent positions as a Branch Nurse, Team Leader, Support Nurse, Regional and Senior Nurses within our branch network. There are also opportunities for Nurses who want to progress into management roles within the company, be that in the clinical or commercial sector of Interserve Healthcare.

What you need to work as a Nurse for Interserve Healthcare

NMC Registration

All qualified Nurses must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to practice as a Nurse within the UK. If you have a nursing qualification from outside the UK, please contact the NMC for information on how to transfer your qualifications to be able to practice in the UK.

Enhanced DBS Check

When you register to work for Interserve Healthcare you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check. This is compulsory for all applicants.


We ask you to provide two professional references from your last place of work as a Nurse. These references must be from your Line Manager, Supervisor or managers that are able to comment on your clinical skills.

How soon can we get you out to work?

In line with CQC (Care Quality Commission) guidelines, every nursing or domiciliary care agency must complete a personal file checklist for each of their candidates to ensure that you are compliant to work with elderly and vulnerable people. As soon as you have been interviewed and your file is completed, we will get you out to work.

Overseas Workers

We are unable to offer candidates work permits, therefore you must either have an EU or UK passport or hold one of the visas listed here. If you are eligible to work and coming to the UK for the first time, check out our tips for working and living in the UK.
