We know that training is what allows care staff to meet the needs of our clients. We make sure that our care staff are properly trained and qualified to provide the level of care that people need. We have structured training programmes for a wide range of care needs, both medical and social care, and the training we provide to our care staff is matched to the individual needs of each client.
All of our care staff are regularly seen by their local branch office so that we can make sure they are up to date with the training they need to do and that they attend meetings in which we update them on things such as changes in policies, new training requirements and changes to the law or standards of care.
Our branch staff will visit care staff whilst they are working with clients so that we can see how they are doing at their job, support them with their development and identify things they might need to do better.
